I am in the process of making a mace/club and a bag head flail. These are a bit of an experiment, I am trying to make them as economically as posable. I am using pool noodle a lot on these. Wile pool noodle is alone not high enough quality to hold up in combat, however, I think under certain conditions it is a suitable construction material.
